Miami – Elm Creek Band Spring Trip 2008
Destination: Alberta Band Festival, Red Deer College
Performance: Monday, May 12th – 9:30 a.m.
Saturday, May 10th – Leave Miami & Elm Creek a.m. arrive Medicine Hat
Sunday, May 11th – excursion to Drumheller to the Dinosaur Museum; travel to Red Deer
Monday, May 12th – Perform at Festival at 9:30 a.m. includes a workshop with Festival adjudicators. (No performance by guests in the evening.)
Monday, May 12th – Travel to Edmonton. Stay one night.
Choice pass provided for either Galaxyland or the Water Park at theWest Edmonton mall. (Open from noon until 7 p.m.) Evening meal at the Old Spaghetti Factory.
Tuesday, May 13th – Return home to Manitoba.
Wednesday, May 14th – Back in class!
Costs: Please provide a cheque for $100 payable to Miami School Band Boosters (not Elm Creek School) by Friday, April 11th.

All band students require the red uniform shirt, black pants, black socks, and black shoes.

Grade 7 & 8 students require black attire as noted above and a white shirt. A button-up shirt is preferred, but a plain white tshirt is approved provided it has no logo or printing on it.

Concert Dates have been booked. Concerts are mandatory for credit in Band.

Band Concert with the Prairie Red Coats Band on Thursday, April 10th at 7:30 p.m. in EC.

Band Concert in Miami on Thursday, April 17th.

Band will participate in the Tempo Festival in Carman Tuesday, April 29th. (Date change)
Senior Band participates in the Alberta Band Festival in Red Deer
Monday, May 12th.
